Case study
Problem
Vodafone's marketing team needed promo pop-ups that grabbed attention on load without slowing the page or annoying users. Static promos were underperforming, and heavy animation assets weren't an option at Vodafone's traffic scale.
Approach
I owned each pop-up end to end — concept, illustration, motion, and CTA states. The rule across all three was “play fast, then anchor”: a short animation delivers the idea, then the pop-up settles on a single clear CTA that deep-links to the relevant landing or app page. Assets were kept performance-light (optimized GIF/SVG) and handed to engineering with integration notes.
Outcome
The animated versions consistently beat their static counterparts, and the approach became a repeatable pattern for campaign promos.
